Scotland has a long tradition of quality brewing which had stagnated somewhat in the post-war period. Happily, Scotland now boasts a very vibrant and forward-looking craft-beer culture inspired by the cask-ale revival of the 1980s. For its small population, Scotland has a large number of microbreweries many of which are amongst the most highly-regarded in the UK and regularly perform well in major competitions. The Cracked Kettle has many contacts in Scotland and through these we hope to offer our customers a wide range of beer from this small but significant player in the quality beer market.
